We spray painted our bathroom light fixtures metalic black with Rustoleum spray paint.
Before:
We taped the part that screws into the light bulb, laid the fixture on some cardboard in the grass and sprayed away.
It didn't look too bad before, but I really like how it pops with the cabinets and black and white tile floor.
