My sister Lisa made the best appetizer the other night. So simple but tasty …I had to share it with you. It was just family so we didn’t go all sophisticated with the presentation, but you could dress this up really easy with a nice bowl and a couple springs of fresh herbs.
She took kalamata olives, capers, feta cheese, fresh campari tomatoes (best for off season), olive oil, salt pepper and dried basil to taste and stirred it all together in a bowl along side a fresh sliced baguette. You could put a multitude of items in this mix, especially once the summer heats up and our gardens grow.
Such a simple little salty collection of goodness. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
